How to use the tool?
First, choose how you want to enter the list of phrases into the system. You can import a list of phrases from a csv file. or type them yourself. You can group up to 10,000 phrases at a time.
Regardless of which option you choose, remember to define the country for which you want to generate statistics.
Choosing the grouping method
Once you have declared the list of phrases and country, select how the phrases should be grouped. You can choose between a linguistic or semantic grouping.
When linguistic grouping is selected, the system will divide the keywords on the basis of the common word groups in the individual phrases. For example, in one group of cakes you will find phrases such as Warsaw cake, cheap cakes and cakes with chocolate topping.
In the language grouping you can choose three types of matching:
Narrow - your keywords will be grouped according to full phrases or words that they are built of.
Wide - your keywords will be grouped according to fragements of phrases or words that they are built of.
Custom - the system will group keywords according to the rule you define.
If you choose the last option - custom grouping, the system will ask you to define the rule it will use during the grouping process.
You will then need to define:
the minimum number of keywords in a group,
the minimum number of words in the group name,
the maximum number of words in the group name.
Additionally, specify if the system should include conjugated and/or declinated keywords and if it should skip single stop words e.g. a, but, or.
In the case of semantic grouping, keywords will be divided into groups of semantically related phrases, e.g. one group will contain phrases such as bike and bmx.
In the language grouping you can choose three types of matches:
Narrow - your keywords will be assigned into groups of keywords with a close semantic relation.
Wide - your keywords will be assigned into groups of keywords with a loose semantic relation.
In the report you will find the following information:
number of groups - the number of groups generated by the Senuto algorithm,
average search number - average of average monthly number of searches of all phrases included in the analysis,
Congruity with Senuto Keyword Base - the percentage of your phrases that are found in the Senuto database and are assigned basic statistics,
% of missing words - percentage of your phrases that are not in the Senuto database and will not have statistics in the report. Those keywords were not included in the grouping process.
Below the summary you will find a list of groups:
Each group has been assigned following statistics:
average search number for phrases in a given group,
number of keywords in the group,
the average CPC of phrases in the group.
If you want to check which phrases are in the group, click on the arrow to the right.
Phrases in the group will be assigned the following data:
average search number,
CPC, which is the estimated amount that would be paid to click on a given keyword in Google Ads,
trend chart, from which it can be deduced, in which months a given keyword is searched most frequently.
Three types of exports are available in this report.
export with keywords - the result is a list of all keywords with an assigned group;
export list of groups - in effect you will receive a list of generated groups;
export phrases in a group - as a result you will receive a list of phrases classified to a given group.
Each phrase can be assigned to a maximum of one group.
It may happen that some phrases are not assigned to any of the groups. A situation occurs when a phrase is considered to be too similar to other phrases to be placed in a group when assessing the similarity of the declared phrases.
You already know how to easily group any number of phrases. Go to Senuto and use the tool.
