Step 1: Go through the authorization process and select the project you want us to download data from.
The whole process is described here.
Step 2: Add a table to the report.
Step 3: Set the data source to "Project - Competition (p_com_*)".
Step 4: Set the parameters of the table
data: p_com_* e.g. p_com_top10, p_com_organic_visibility, p_com_avg_pos
Variables that you can use in the table (in the data field):
Name of the analysed domain
The number of keywords for which the domain is visible on positionf from X to Y in organic search results
The number of keywords for which the domain is visible on positions from 1 to Z in the organic search results
The number of keywords for which a domain is visible on positions greater than 50 in organic search results.
An estimated amount to be spent in Google Ads to generate the same traffic as the one generated by SEO efforts. The amount is estimated on the basis of traffic from keywords for which the website is ranked 1–10.
The number of keywords, the position of which increased, decreased or did not change in relation to the previous day.
The maximum monthly traffic that a domain can generate from the monitored keywords.
The percentage of traffic that the domain generates from the maximum potential from the monitored words.
_prev: Adding _prev to the variable means that the variable refers to yesterday, e.g. p_com_1_3_prev means the number of phrases in positions 1-3 of yesterday.
_percent: The ratio of the variable value for your domain and a competitor's domain. For example, p_com_1_3_percent corresponds to the number of key phrases in the top3 divided by the number of key phrases in the top3 of your competitor multiplied by 100%.
Step 5: Rename the variables.
Step 6: Display the finished table.
And it's done! You have added a competition comparison table to your report!
