If your agency tracks the keywords of your website in Senuto, you can ask them for access to your reports. It's a win-win solution because your insight into the statistics will facilitate the communication about the progress made in the project. You will get access to all reports concerning your project, but without the authorization to update its settings. You will not be able to use additional modules available on Senuto Platform (Visibility Analysis and Keyword Explorer), either. More information on various types of Senuto users can be found here.

What is rank tracking?

Rank tracking is used for daily inspection of the position of your (or any) website in the organic search results for a selected keyword.

Why should you track keyword positions?

If you track the rank of your keywords on a daily basis, you can examine the ups and downs of selected keywords in Google in real time and analyze the progress of your website in Google.

  1. Do you rank higher than your competitors for the most important keywords?

  2. What is the position of your website when compared to the previous week or month?

  3. Which sections of your website are doing better? Which are doing worse?

  4. Do your SEO efforts pay off?

  5. Is your SEO campaign going in the right direction?

What are the benefits of automated rank tracking in Senuto?

  1. Up-to-date information – Senuto provides you every day with the latest information on the rank of your website for selected keywords.

  2. Hindsight – our database contains the entire history of your project and keyword position. Do you wish to see the results of your cooperation with the agency? A relevant report can be generated in a matter of seconds.

  3. Detailed analysis of your keywords – if you wish to run a thorough analysis of your keywords, the set of metrics used in our reports will make it possible.

  4. Competition analysis – you will rapidly compare the visibility of your domain against your competitors.

How to navigate around Rank Tracker?

Main view

The initial view of Rank Tracker presents a summary of all the projects available from your account.

In the white frame, the system will display general information on your projects, including the number of your:

  • projects,

  • tracked keywords, or the number of keywords added to the projects,

  • keywords in TOP3, TOP10, TOP50 and outside TOP50,

  • and Google Ads equivalent.

The number of keywords in TOP3 are the keywords for which the website is ranked 1–3 in Google organic search results. Accordingly, TOP10 are the keywords for which the website is ranked 1–10, and TOP50 – 1–50. Remember that organic positions should be counted excluding the positions reserved for ads.

Google Ads equivalent is an estimated amount to be spent in Google Ads to generate the same traffic as the one generated by SEO efforts.

Below the global statistics, you can find a brief summary of all your projects, including:

  • visibility history, or the estimated monthly traffic from organic search results presented on a chart; the traffic is determined on the basis of visibility in the week under analysis (TOP10 keywords and individual positions of the website),

  • current visibility,

  • number of keywords tracked in the project,

  • average position of tracked keywords in Google,

  • and % of used potential, which is a percentage of traffic generated by the website from the maximum potential of keywords tracked.

Click on the project title to open all available reports concerning your website.

How to interpret results in Senuto Rank Tracker?

Any project in Senuto Rank Tracker consists of several reports. Which information can they provide?

Summary Report

The Summary Report outlines general information on the visibility of your website. It will be your go-to report. Consult it to check how the positions of your website increased or decreased, what percentage of your traffic potential you currently use, and what you would pay to generate the same traffic in Google Ads (a handy metric for monitoring your SEM budget!).

What else can you find in the report?

  • visibility chart which will show you if your website is becoming more visible (upward trend) or less (downward trend),

  • list of keywords which potentially generate the biggest traffic,

  • list of competitors – check which one of your competitors is best visible in Google.

The report consists of three parts:

  • a visibility statistics chart which compares your competitors in terms of the number of keywords they have in TOP3/TOP10/TOP50,

  • a table of competitors which gives you detailed information on the visibility of your competitors,

  • a competition matrix which lists the positions of your competitors for keywords added to your project.
